kanaya’s nervous rambling is the most blatant clue to me tbh

seriously and the fact that a lot of Kanaya’s interpersonal narratives (re: Vriska and Rose in particular) are so deeply and obviously coded as queer i am sometimes just BWUH when people refuse to see the massive crushing going on with her.  GIRL IS CRUSHING HARD, DANG, IS THE RAMBLING AND CONSTANT DESIRE TO IMPRESS ROSE NOT A CUE, THAT’S A CUE.
